Virgin-Cosworth

Effectively a joint effort between Manor Grand Prix and Wirth Research, Virgin was the first of the new teams to hit the track.

Although pre-season testing was beset by mechanical problems, good progress has been made with the all CFD-designed car. Beating the established teams, even occasionally, is a huge ask, and victory in the "newcomers" class over Lotus and HRT would be a great start.

Following a tough pre-season, finishing races is the one aim for the start of the season.
